The application fee for South African applicants is R200 for on-time applications and R400 for late applications. 

Returning students to the University of KwaZulu-Natal pay an application fee of R200 (R400 late fee) directly to UKZN . International applicants from SADC and the rest of Africa are required to pay R470 while those outside Africa are required to pay $146 .
